Principles of Environmental Science

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of environmental science and the relationship between humans and the natural world. Topics include ecosystems, biodiversity, natural resources, pollution, climate change, and sustainable development. Students will gain the ability to evaluate environmental problems and investigate workable solutions that support sustainability and civic engagement.
